The Wardingarri Aboriginal Corporation (WAC) is a not-for-profit organisation registered under ORIC and is a Prescribed Body Corporate under native title legislations.
The corporation is engaged in a wide range of activities to assist in achieving the objective of living and working back on country, maintaining cultural connections to country, and business and economic developments. The organisation is seeking to appoint an Office Coordinator with proven experience in a similar role.
This position will report directly to the Board and Chairperson and will aim to implement and maintain procedures to assist in streamlining processes and systems for the improvement of operations within the organisation.
Skills & Experience
Proven administration or assistant experience.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and planning skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Attending to phone calls and emails.
Basic accounting tasks including reconciliations.
Administrative duties to support the Board.
Data processing including Microsoft Word and Excel.
Coordinate projects, events and meeting arrangements in accordance with direction from the Board.

Salary is negotiable subject to relevant qualifications and experience, however it is expected that the successful applicant will have suitable experience to qualify under the Social and Community Services Award at a Level 3 position.
