Institutional including Educational, Health, Government offices, Aged Care, Court Houses, Police stations, Fire stations, Ambulance stations, and general community facilities.
Commercial including offices, automobile showrooms, and car parks
Sporting Facilities including Indoor Sports Centres, Grandstands
Day to Day Activities:
Produce Engineering Designs, Reports, and Specifications
Attendance and Input at Management and / or Project Meetings
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders to provide engineering solutions including contractors, builders, architects, and developers and provide Assistance During Construction
Schedule and Perform all Work Satisfactorily and Successfully
Monitor all legislation, codes of practice, compliance codes, applicable standards, and any other requirements relevant to STP Consultants operations and report to Management Representative for an update in the Integrated Business Management System.
Integrate health and safety risk management into their operations and work environments
Carry out site inspections
Travel to project sites throughout Queensland and interstate.
Ensuring conformation to STPs quality standards, Design and Drafting / Modelling are Maintained
The successful candidate will have:
University degree-level qualifications in Electrical Engineering accredited to Australian standards
Minimum 5 years experience as a Building Services Electrical Engineer including power infrastructure and distribution, lighting, communications and data, security, CCTV, fire, lightning protection, PV systems
Strong Software skills including Electrical REVIT modelling, AutoCAD, AGI32 and Navisworks and the Microsoft Office suite
Fundamental understanding of Building Services across all MEP disciplines
Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC-BCA, Safety in Design, Authorities Standards (NBN, Telstra, Electricity Supply Authorities, etc)
High level of customer service.
Member Engineers Australia (Preferred but not essential)
Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) (Preferred but not essential)
