An exciting and rare opportunity currently exists for an innovative and motivated individual to join Quarrying divisions as Administration Officer based in Ararat. Reporting to the Quarry Manager and the Sales & Transport Manager this role is perfect for an experienced administrator or clerk looking to further their portfolio. A flexible and team orientated person required to manage the office in busy quarry.



  • Managing reception at the quarry office including site inductions and answering phone queries
  • Complying and filing daily production reports and balancing product stock levels
  • Creation and management of purchasing requirements for site/s
  • Completing weekly and monthly reporting
  • Data entry and minute taking
  • Working with all departments HR, Payroll, Training & Recruitment to ensure the seamless on-boarding and mobilisation of new employees
  • Overseeing and managing office supply requirements
  • General administration duties as required
  • Relief operation of weighbridge
  • Process customer payments
  • Workplace health and safety
  • Maintaining positive communications with quarry staff and drivers



  • Professional presentation and positive, can do attitude
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications and computer skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in transport &/or manufacturing industries would be advantageous.
