Accounts Payable/Receptionist

Established local business, Permanent Part-time, Friendly and supportive team.

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable person to join our head office team in the role of Account Payable Officer/Receptionist.  This is a permanent part-time position (Monday - Friday) and hours of work can be by arrangement with the successful candidate.  School hours are available.

Duties will include:

  • Reception (including liaising with clients, suppliers, employees and management);
  • Accounts Payable such as the processing of invoices for payment, purchase orders, monthly reconciliations and resolution of invoicing discrepancies;
  • Reconciliation of the monthly fuel account and preparation of fuel tax credit claim;
  • Assist with the administration of the company fleet including registration renewals, CTP insurance, fuel and toll cards;
  • Data entry of job sheets; and 
  • Providing general administrative support to the business.

Successful applicants will possess and be able to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Minimum two years experience in an accounts payable role. Experience with Reckon will be highly regarded;
  • Intermediate to advanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Outlook;
  • Ability to prioritise work load so as to meet payment cycle requirements in a timely manner;
  • Accuracy of data entry;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Able to be self-sufficient whilst contributing to a team environment; and 
  • Sound oral and written communication skills.

Applicants with the following experience will be highly regarded:

  • Payroll administration;
  • Previous experience working a mechanical, logistics or manufacturing environment.
