The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a client focused individual to join our North Sydney office. You will be working with a dedicated team to assist with servicing new and existing financial planning clients. The role will provide a great environment to apply your existing experience in client service and implementation, and an opportunity to learn the strategic side from advisers.

Tasks include:

  • Implementation of advice for our new and existing clients
  • Preparation for client reviews
  • Assisting with existing client queries
  • Co-ordination of tax and accounting work between the financial planning and accounting team
  • Liaising with clients via phone, email or face to face

About you

The successful applicant will need to be comfortable juggling a variety of priorities while staying organised. In addition:

  • Be uncompromising in your desire to WOW clients
  • Possess high level skills in dealing confidently and courteously with people at all levels, be confident in building great relationships with our clients
  • Have outstanding communication skills and attention to detail
  • Have sound product knowledge across superannuation, insurance and platforms
  • Sense of humour work can be fun!

POSITION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Wed like to hear from candidates with the below experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a boutique financial planning business in a similar role
  • Familiarity with investment and superannuation platforms
  • Competent and accurate MS Office skills specifically Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous XPLAN experience 
  • Sound knowledge of general administration processes

DESIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • A relevant degree in finance
  • Diploma of Financial Planning
