Autonomous permanent role - good hours

This successful company assembles and distributes industrial equipment to a national client base. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Storeperson looking for an autonomous role to oversee the full warehousing/stock operation.

You will manage the day to day operations of the warehouse, look for process improvement opportunities, maintain a seamless inwards and outward goods process with some computer reporting, stock control/ordering and ensure the company’s quality control policy is adhered to.

To succeed in this role you will enjoy dealing with customers (internal and external) and it is essential your communication is clear and confident. You’ll have good computer skills, a professional and friendly phone manner and can demonstrate the ability to run a small warehouse. A minimum 3 years’ experience in stores/warehousing and a current forklift license is essential.

Your desire to learn, maturity and down to earth style will ensure that you quickly fit in and contribute. If you have administration and computer skills you may be developed and become involved in other areas of the business.
