About the Role:
 
Your overarching brief will be to drive performance improvement of manufacturing operations in Brisbane and Melbourne, overseeing a team of approximately 45 staff and with a Production Manager and two Production Supervisors as direct reports.
 
You will report to a very experienced Executive General Manager, work closely at peer level with National Sales Managers, a Head of Customer Experience and a Technical Sales lead, and receive strong support from high calibre HR and Finance teams.
 
Essentially, your role will focus on improving the capability and performance of your people, continuing to drive positive culture change in the operations under your control, and effectively harnessing technology to optimise operational efficiency.
 
About You:
 
You are an experienced Manufacturing leader, and our client has a strong preference for a professional with strong labelling, printing or packaging experience.
 
It is expected that you “live Lean” and it is highly likely that you have tertiary qualifications in an Engineering/Manufacturing discipline.
 
Critically, you can point to a history of delivering quantified improvements in the performance of Manufacturing functions through developing your people, leading them to higher performance levels individually, and positively impacting on the culture more broadly.
