Based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia, with operational satellite locations across regional Australia, MLGs business has grown over the last 19 years to employ more than 700 employees and contractors across 20 sites. The Role

  • FIFO from Darwin or Perth. East Coast Flights (Salary Sacrifice) options avail
  • 2:1 Roster
  • Permanent full-time position

As the Workshop Manager reporting directly to the Site Manager your previous experience would include:

  • Sound knowledge and demonstrated experience with Occupational Health, Safety and Risk Management.
  • Effective people management skills with the ability to drive and engage workforce
  • Ability to demonstrate experience with Contractor Management
  • Demonstrated Experience with Fleet Maintenance Management
  • Sound knowledge of Off Roadside Tipper Road Trains, Kenworth Prime Movers and Caterpillar Front End Wheel Loaders
  • Previous mine site experience
  • Proven experience leading a workshop team to achieve work outcomes
  • Strong time management, communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Highly focused with a strong attention to detail.
  • Experience with the day to day management of a mobile plant maintenance workshop
  • Experience with PRONTO would also be advantageous
  • Cert III Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or other relevant Australian trade or International equivalent
