FUNCTIONS AND ABILITIES

The Customer Service Representative will be:

  • Providing a premium customer experience to exceed expectations, responding to, and resolving product or service order enquiries to our customers. 
  • Prepare, compile and sort documents for data entry, transferring data from paper formats into the database system.
  • Verify data and make corrections where necessary.
  • Collate information for the purpose of quoting both Memorials and Architectural orders
  • Establishing long term relationships with our customers.
  • Report customer complaints and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Working collaboratively with team members, management and manufacturing to achieve team and company goals.
  • Ensuring effective and accurate communication via the telephone & email.
  • Achieving daily targets including actioning requests to enable a 24-48-hour order processing timeline.
  • Providing accurate information in relation to our products.
  • Ensure credits and other adjustments are dealt with efficiently and with the customer experience in mind.
  • Identifying initiatives to improve the customer experience.
  • Provide support to our Customer Care Manager.
  • When requested, assist with the training of other staff
     

YOUR PROFILE: To be successful, you will have:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar customer service role in a public or private organisation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in providing high levels of customer service and experience.
  • Stellar spoken and written communication abilities.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong administrative, time management and organisational abilities.
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
  • A positive can do attitude and an engaging behaviour. 
  • Maintain a proactive view of our business practices to enhance our offering to our customers.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.
  • Confidence in handling a diverse range of customer interactions and relationships.
  • Strong work ethic and energy to help and drive for results.

Hours of Work: 8am 4.30pm with overtime when required.
