As a fast-paced Chartered Accounting Firm located in the Sydney CBD, we are seeking to employ a self-motivated enthusiastic and hardworking junior to assist with accounting, bookkeeping and some office administration.
We are primarily corporate and tax advisers but also look after all the accounting for Family Office clients and a couple of SME's in which we form part of the management team.
This is a fantastic role, if you have the right attitude. This is ideal for someone who wants to enter accounting or has recently entered the profession. You will be employed in a firm that are willing to train you in all aspects of accounting and taxation in a professional firm.
In this position, you will be involved with all members of our team and you will be involved in a wide range of tasks to keep your day varied and interesting.
Your responsibilities will include
General administrative duties including mail, filing, data entry, office upkeep;
Basic accounting and bookkeeping on MYOB, Xero, HandiTax, Handisoft, and Excel; and
Providing support to the team to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
The successful applicant will be:
Have an excellent grasp of the English language, both written and oral;
Have at least intermediate skills in Word and Excel;
Be able to use Word, Excel, and Outlook and have operated MYOB and/or Xero;
A very self-motivated can-do attitude; and
Know the Sydney CBD and be able to get around quickly and easily.
You should be fully conversant with the whole of our website and have read the newsletters. The Trilogy is more than likely a great place to start.
