Our Client is an ASX listed Group going through a period of acquisition lead growth. Reporting to the CFO they now seek a Corporate Finance Manger to support them in the next phase of this growth strategy.
Play a lead role in merger, acquisition and organic growth projects ensuring sound commercial decisions, relevant to strategy, are executed.
Analyse commercial opportunities, identifying key drivers and commercial assumptions.
Provide in-depth analytics and guidance on the viability and commercial implications of potential transactions.
Project manage new business and acquisition activities to ensure a smooth process from end to end and those commercial objectives are met.
Develop strong relationships with the senior leadership team to understand business unit strategies.
Maintain an understanding of sector market trends to better provide advice when assessing M&A opportunities.
Lead, Manage and Mentor a small team of analysts.
Provide planning and integration advice post-acquisition.
Ad hoc financial reporting work.
As the ideal candidate, you have an M&A, audit or transaction services background gained from the Big 4, commercial role or global strategy consulting firm and can demonstrate excellent financial modelling, research and problem-solving skills, superior presentation and communication skills as well as being passionate about making a difference and adding value.
