Receptionist/Administration Support Team Leader (Part-Time)
Neurospace is an Allied Health rehabilitation practice. We are currently seeking a highly experienced receptionist to join our rapidly growing team in a permanent part-time capacity, to take on the role of Team Leader for our Reception Team. The Receptionist Team Leader leads and manages staff in day-to-day activities including developing, coaching and mentoring staff, and building commitment towards shared goals.
The day to day responsibilities of this position includes:
Perform all aspects of reception duties including scheduling appointments, customer service, data entry, responding to enquiries, billing and accounts processing.
Maintain accurate and effective record management systems for patients including the preparation and management of medical reports and records.
Implement work plans, set tasks and manage priorities for reception staff to ensure a consistent flow of patients through the clinic.
Manage resources, including supporting and implementing change management processes and business improvement initiatives.
Lead a focus on optimising patient registration and championing excellent patient care, through enhanced service delivery and continuous improvement.
Identify and effectively communicate any impacts to operational needs, resources and proactively identify solutions to resolve them.
Contribute to the development of team objectives for short term tasks and strategic planning for longer-term initiatives.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders to influence sound business decisions
Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring experience
Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a complex environment
Excellent stakeholder management and customer liaison skills
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and operate effectively as a team member
Previous experience using clinical and practice management software (or the ability to obtain)
Previous medical/allied health reception experience is highly desirable. A demonstrated understanding of medical administration (including HiCaps, Medicare and NDIS) will be highly regarded.
This role is a permanent part-time position with Neurospace offering above award rates.
