About the role
Reporting to the Divisional Executive Assistant, you will provide varied administration support to the wider Community Services team including but not limited to the Youth, Education, Economic Development and Community Engagement leadership divisions.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake the administrative processes required for training needs, travel permits and working with children’s checks
  • Pack and deliver stock to transport providers
  • Undertake purchasing activities including identifying suppliers, seeking quotes, creating purchase orders, ordering stock, receipting stock and requesting invoices for the Youth, Education, Economic Development and Community Engagement sites.
  • Support the Executive Assistant to the General Manager by undertaking any additional administrative duties as directed

  
Skills and Experience

  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using electronic systems for financial reporting and stock control
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills including proficient written and oral communication skills that can be adapted to meet the needs of people from all education levels, language abilities and ethnic origin
  • An ability to obtain and maintain an NT driving license
