CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS Maintenance Technician
SCHIEBEL Pacific is looking for highly motivated CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) Maintenance Technicians to join our growing organisation in Australia.
At SCHIEBEL Pacific, we are increasing our operations. Thus, we are looking for highly motivated CAMCOPTER S-100 Maintenance Technicians / Instructors to reinforce our team. Once you have completed your internal qualification training (training will take place in Wiener Neustadt, Austria for a duration of minimum two months) you will become a certified CAMCOPTER S-100 Maintainer, after which you will be deployed (land and/or ship-based operations) within one of our Production Facilities and/or as part of our international flight operations team for mission(s) worldwide to gain the experience required to become a certified CAMCOPTER S-100 UAS Maintenance Technician / Instructor. Once you have achieved this qualification you will be based in/around Brisbane (QLD) or Nowra (NSW) to conduct professional training courses for our customers in Australia or other countries.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain the CAMCOPTER S-100 for flight operations, tests and training in the field
Ensure all maintenance tasks follow established procedures
Create and improve a training regime that suits the requirements of our existing and future customers organisations (e.g. DEF-AUST Standards)
Work in compliance with all system related and operations related regulations (Duty of Care).
Continuous improvement of system documentation and creation of internal and external reports.
Continually re-evaluate risk assessments and appropriate actions to mitigate any elevated risk levels
Capture critical information for input into after-action reports and lessons learnt
Deliver training courses in most professional manner to our customers
Valid Australian Passport
Previous experience in manned or unmanned aircraft maintenance would be advantageous
Electrical or electronics skills and certifications
Composite experience or understanding of composite technology
Experience with ISR, Avionics, Radio equipment and/or in working in a military environment and/or with authorities are advantageous
Existing ADF security clearances or the ability to gain these
Have the capacity to apply specialist knowledge, skills and competences and to solve problems independently
Strong work ethics & team collaboration
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to deal with stressful situations and timelines
Good computer knowledge and skills. Willingness to travel in Australia and internationally after initial training (up to 12 weeks deployments)
Experience as an instructor or the suitability and interest to become an instructor
