This is a unique opportunity for the right person to join our team and work alongside our Farm Manager & Assistant Manager on 70 acres of riverfront property on the pristine Colo River. You will work to achieve the very best outcomes for the land, stock, team members, customers and guests of the Hebron Farm facility.
Opportunity exists for 40 hours per week full-time including regular rostered weekend work so only apply if you are able to work weekends and public holidays.This role is best suited to someone already living in the area that has their own transport.
Hebron Farm is a developing organic farm currently home to goats, cattle, sheep & laying hens and has market vegetable and house gardens.
An interest in organic & permaculture grazing, or a willingness to learn and work toward these farming methods is essential. Main activities would include but not be limited to: planting, irrigation, harvesting, grading, animal feeding, machinery use, property maintenance, egg collection processing and packaging.
Additionally, Hebron Cottage & Hebron Homestead are rented out for holiday stays and the grounds are maintained to ensure our guests have a beautiful environment to enjoy their country retreat. Successful applicants will have exceptional people skills and will be required to regularly interact with guests while they are working.
- Experience with cropping & livestock is desirable
