About The Role
Scope has an exciting opportunity for a Project Support Officer to work within our Strategy, Brand and Business Development Division.
The Project Support Officer role is central to the smooth running of key administrative and support functions for the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Redevelopments Project. The Project Support Officer will support the team and has a key role with administrative activities across the project life cycle.
Key tasks include:
Provide administrative support for agreed project management methods, standards and processes throughout a project lifecycle as directed by Manager Strategy and Special Projects and the Project Manager
Assist team members in the administration of SDA Redevelopment project and SIL Vacancy procedures, disciplines and recording and reporting standards
Define and document procedures in accordance with agreed methodology
Develop and maintain the project library, recording and reporting systems
Organise Project Reference Group meetings, remotely as well as potentially at Scope locations, and email or provide printed hard copies of collateral as required for these meetings
Take and distribute minutes for Project Reference Groups and a Steering Committee
Maintain and update the SDA Redevelopment Project stakeholder contact list
Maintain calendar of Project milestones and Project Reference Group meetings
Follow up emails or calls to key stakeholders to confirm meeting times or details, or other Project administrative questions, on advice of Vacancy Coordinators or Project Manager
Undertake any other administrative tasks as specified by Project leadership
A high degree of computer literacy including advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, specifically project based programs and a willingness and skill to learn new programs quickly
Strong level of written skills and the ability to analyse and present information professionally
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organised and efficient; a high degree of initiative and ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
