We are a market leader in Lithium LIFEPO4 batteries & battery management systems. Lithium Lab p/L is looking for a passionate and results-driven technical Sales representative/ Consultant to support our business growth and actively seek out new customers. 

Thrive in selling the top of the range Lithium Lab brand batteries product suite and battery management systems, which truly benefit our customers.

Suit electrical engineer or similar with proven sales experience and handling of low voltage batteries, and direct experience with its applications in the Off-grid/ Camping/ Caravan/ RV/ 4WD or related industries and markets will be highly sought after.

Lithium Lab Pty Ltd company operations: Lithium Lab P/L has been operating for 7 years with an established reputation in the marketplace for high performance Lithium batteries to power offgrid lifestyles. 

We have an exceptional opportunity for a high performing Sales professional to join the Lithium Lab team, and engage in the role that will define you in years to come as not only a skilled tradesman but an established business professional.

This is a contract position but with potential to extend subject to performance and fit. You will be responsible for handling incoming sales enquiries, sourcing leads, and converting these leads into new sales. Key to this role will be your strong sales ability, your love for closing, and your technical knowledge of batteries - a good knowledge of batteries for caravan, RV, boating/ camping, offgrid will be highly sought after. Exposure to the Electrical/ engineering industry or similar, and being comfortable with diagnosing basic to intermediate level electrical issues will be highly regarded. Technical qualifications and past experiences in any hands-on Trades role would also be a distinct advantage- as any working knowledge of deep-cycle batteries, solar, electrical or any variation to offgrid power applications, would be directly required for this role and if you have a hands-on appreciation and love for working on batteries, even better.

Flexible work arrangements can be discussed, with the opportunity to move between the factory floor to working remotely from your home/ home office. The factory is located within 12km West of the Melbourne CBD, & in close proximity to major roads and freeways. This role also involves occasional travel to visit suppliers and customers (partners, dealers, manufacturers, end users), attend trade shows during the busy event months (when Covid-safe to do so), and work at the factory and the like as required. You will enjoy and thrive on this varied flexibility and semi-structured environment, you will also enjoy understanding the technical aspects of battery chemistry and performance and electrical solutions; for we are looking for a mature and highly reliable and seasoned sales professional - experience, a safe pair of hands, a strong communicator and collaborator, and doses of humility and respect on the job.

Attractive 3 months trial period with training, contract-based remuneration offered - including retainer + commissions (based on skills & experience). Definite potential to extend contract to a longer-term basis for the right professional after trial period.
