Operations Manager - Security

We serve to provide confidence in our ability to deliver and support medium to large scale operations. As a diverse company, we are dedicated to the delivery of many services oriented in the Security, Cleaning, Traffic, Pest and Civil sector and we are now seeking to appoint an Operations manager to oversee, direct and develop our Security business.  

Please note our head office is based in Yennora, Sydney.

About the role:

As the Operations Manager of our Security division, your role will be to oversee and continuously develop the Security division across a National level. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Allied Security Management can deliver applications and services at high velocity with stability and security to our clients. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong business relationships and maintain existing client relationships
  • Oversee all of the security operations
  • Manage and oversee all security patrols
  • Lead the operations  team, ensuring the team are engaged, have clarity and context and share and embody Allied's values
  • Liaise with security guards as necessary
  • Hands on management of alarm monitoring/CCTV technicians or any other monitoring or reporting systems
  • Manage all SOPs and Risk assessments
  • Keep abreast of the latest tools and best-practice techniques across the industry
  • Quality reporting, auditing and troubleshooting operational issues
  • Identify strategic opportunities
  • Seek new business opportunities
  • Assist in the development of tender documents
  • Resolve client complaints - investigate problems, develop solutions, prepare reports, and make recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Keep up to date in the market, i.e. attend relevant networking events and provide feedback
  • Monitor the market and competition - maintain information on pricing, products, techniques etc.

The successful candidate must have:

  • 5+ years experience in a managerial role in the Security Industry
  • Australian Permanent Residency
  • Valid driver license
  • First Aid
  • Police Clearance
  • Proven ability to develop new business
  • Excellent verbal communication and relationship building skills with external and internal clients, workers and stakeholders
  • Displays self-motivation, energy and initiative
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Able to think logically and developing solutions
  • Excellent grooming and presentation
