8 Star Energy is the licensee for Energizer and EVEREADY branded renewable energy products, currently including Home Batteries, Solar Panels, Portable Power Stations and Containerised Energy Storage Systems. With the Home Batteries just launched in Australia, the company is now preparing to launch in Europe. Other product range launches are also imminent.
As 8 Star Energy rapidly transitions from start-up to scale-up business, it is seeking to appoint a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to shape and drive strategic marketing activities and help take the business to the next level.
Reporting to the CEO and Managing Director, the CMO will enhance and establish new marketing frameworks, driving strategic planning and execution to deliver growth in multiple new markets.
The CMO will develop and implement all marketing plans, build brand awareness and equity, manage customer experience, and drive customer loyalty. They will manage external service providers and collaborate with channel partners, as well as build and lead internal marketing capability. They will drive continuous improvement and innovation within the marketing function and contribute to business strategies and innovation across the organisation.
You are a proven strategic marketer with ambition to develop and grow rapidly with a global, scale-up business. You must have a track record of achieving brand, business and sales growth. You must also have experience in both B2B and B2C environments, and a global orientation. Renewable energy industry and/or iconic brand experience is highly desirable, but not essential. You have a Bachelors Degree in a relevant field and/or MBA.
You are measured and effective as an executive team member, providing high quality input into strategic decision making. At the same time, you are also able to work hands-on, with an eye for detail, and at fast pace.
