This role supports two teams in the organisation (Events and Bushfire Response Program as a component of Be You). Please read the full position description for further details.
About the role
The Administration Support Officer role supports two ECA Teams: the Events Team and the Bushfire Response Program team. This position includes a range of administrative and organisational support to the management of both teams to ensure their smooth running. This is completed in accordance with the relevant work plan timelines and ECAs policy and procedures.
This position involves corresponding with key stakeholders, committees and attendees on the phone, via email or written correspondence. The position includes a high level of administration support across all areas and requires communication with suppliers, and all other work teams within ECA and Be You.

Selection Criteria Required
Year 12 certificate (or other suitable qualification) with at least 2 years prior experience in administration and/or events coordination role
Demonstrated computer proficiency including competent skills in MS Office Suite (essential) and events air (desirable).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills including stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Demonstrated effective time management skills with sound attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow procedures, multitask and meet deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and show initiative.
Able to work well in a team.
Working knowledge of EventsAir is desirable.
Working knowledge of WordPress is desirable.
Finance and Accounts receivable knowledge desirable
Working knowledge of Xero is desirable.
The Salary for this role is at Level 2 (starting at $64,705) as per Early Childhood Australias Enterprise Agreement that sets out all applicable terms and conditions of your employment. As a registered charity ECA is eligible for fringe benefit tax rebates and offers salary packaging options.
The role is maternity replacement and is a fixed term position until November 2021 full time.
Hours are primarily during business hours 9am5pm.
The position is based in our National office at 16 Mildura St, Fyshwick ACT.
