About Apprenticeship Support Australia Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) was formed in 1998 to deliver the Australian Apprenticeship Support Network services under a contract from the Commonwealth Government. ASA’s services are focused on lifting apprenticeship commencement and completion rates through the provision of support at every stage of the training cycle. About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic people-oriented individual to join our experienced Metro Team. This is an excellent opportunity to take your Business to Business experience and join a distinguished WA organisation providing excellent service to businesses and apprentices. Key tasks will include:
Deliver high quality, knowledgeable and thorough training contract sign-ups to employers and apprentices/trainees
Administer and process contracts to lodge in an accurate and timely manner.
Provide advice on incentives and eligibility
Undertake assessments of employers and apprentices to determine apprenticeship readiness.
Deliver BD activities to identify and win new business opportunities
Undertake client retention activities with allocated clients
Provide high-quality customer service to clients throughout the training contract period
Report on activity as required by the Team Leader
Ensure databases are maintained and kept up to accurate and compliant.
Provide support to team in delivering initial assessments, contacts and identifying complex mentoring requirements
Represent ASA to a high standard at events, networking opportunities and expos
Keep up-to-date on training contract regulations, policies and changes
All ASA roles are associated to the AASN contract which CCIWA has held for over 20 years. At the start of February, we began our new contract with the government which will go until the end of February 2022 with the potential for an additional 3 years.
This role comes with a Tool of Trade Vehicle that may be used for limited private travel, subject to the limitations outlined in CCIWA policies and procedures.
About you We are looking for someone who has:
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated experience in building and managing a strong network of clients
Excellent communication skills – oral and written
Ability to represent our organisation at events, functions, career days, expos including giving presentations and networking
Ethical and has integrity
Can work to and deliver on KPIs
Strong attention to detail
Safe driving skills
Federal Police Clearance
Working with Children Check
Knowledge and understanding of the Apprenticeship and Traineeship system will be highly regarded.
