Things You’ll Do:

  • Utilise your experience working with, and providing services to, young people and their carers in a library or educational environment. 
  • Demonstrate an enthusiastic interest and a broad knowledge of literature for young people. 
  • Utilise your knowledge and understanding of collection development practices. 
  • Demonstrate well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills Competent in the use of computer applications, current and emerging technologies. 
  • Demonstrated experience in devising and implementing staff training and public education programs.
  • Demonstrate a sound understanding of the needs of young people within a contemporary library service.
