Administration Assistant

Psychology Melbourne is a leading private psychology practice in Melbourne that is expanding from its base in Melbourne with 45 busy psychologists in the CBD and suburbs all clients get the best possible assistance.

We are seeking an administration assistant skilled in report writing and IT to help us manage our expansion. 

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is task-focused and prefers working in the backroom. You will need to be highly organised, self-motivated and able to work autonomously.

About the role:

The key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems
  • Scheduling and monitoring room utilisation
  • Monitoring leave rosters book (or calendar) for staff and contractors
  • Monitoring and ordering office supplies
  • Monitoring and reporting on daily takings, reconciliations, data entries, payroll and other expenses
  • Collecting, organising, and storing data information in a confidential manner
  • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress

Requirements Preferred 

  • Exceptional time and task management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers, especially MS Office.
  • Ability to keep track of multiple projects and deadlines.

Essential

  • Intermediate level of Excel
  • 2+ years administration experience
