The CFO oversees annual budget submissions and provides support on budgets, cash flow matters, leading and developing a motivated finance team to drive continuous improvement.
You will present a hands-on approach regarding internal controls to ensure General Ledger integrity and robustness of financial reports are accurate before submission to your direct reports.
Provide strategic, analytical, financial, and business advisory services to the board on accounting, business planning, budgeting, and financial management information systems
Structure and review new and current Group entity structures along with tactical planning for entity divestments.
Liaise with and negotiate with the Groups financial institutions and financiers whilst ensuring the Groups overall position and objectives are met and present your strategic analytical view on its viability.
Ensure cash flow of the group is controlled and appropriately forecasted and managed effectively and efficiently.
Ensuring the continual growth and prosperity of the Group by providing advice on strategic and tactical planning.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of statutory compliance obligations and management reporting
Analysis, interpretation, and implementation of developments in accounting, complex technical and legislative changes including GST, FBT, payroll tax, contracts, general taxation, and applicable legislation.
Review monthly Project Reports with key Senior Management Team to ensure administrative integrity and resolve any financial issues.
Analyse & strategize project reports to maximise profitability.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Tertiary qualification in Business or Finance including membership (CA / CPA preferred)
In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
Extensive experience with data knowledge analysis and forecasting methods
Ability to strategise and be an active self-motivated problem solver
Demonstrated strong leadership and organisational skills
Demonstrated collaborative leadership, influencing, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to successfully manage change in a complex, diverse and challenging environment
