About the Company

Our client is a boutique fast-growing Sydney based consultancy who provide a broad range of IT and Security Services. The business is looking to complement a strong existing sales capability.

Im looking for a hunter, someone who is not afraid to target and attract new businesses and unlock different sales opportunities across a full range of the companies product lines. You will have the opportunity to build the future Sales Team, starting with providing a high level of Business Development, Account Management and Delivery support.

About the role

Reporting directly to the IT practice Lead, youll help the business achieve and exceed ambitious company targets. You will focus on developing a new Customer Portfolio, leveraging already strong relationship the business have within NSW Government, bringing new clients and opportunities to the business.


Day to day, you will:

  • Drive sales and growth with both existing and potential new clients across Australia
  • Promote the companies Cybersecurity brand and be the first advocate for the company values across the market
  • Lead and complete Tenders, presentations, proposals, RFIs and RFQ
  • Be the SME of the companys Cybersecurity Services and promote new and creative way to win businesses and opportunities
  • Engage with the c-suite, unlocking multiple sales opportunities leveraging the company full product line


Skills & experience


You are a customer-focused sales professional with a passion and understanding for Information Security technology. You can articulate the business advantage that the business product portfolio is offering and accordingly influence your customers.

You will have:

  • An understanding of Information Security Services such as GRC, Risk and Assurance, Risk assessment and mitigation, Audit, ISO27001 and ISM compliance.
  • A team first attitude, with a proven track record in achieving and exceeding quota in an IT sales environment
  • You are a hunter, who can find a varied range of solutions to uncover and scope new business opportunities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence people at any level of the business.
  • Experience and understanding of the NSW Government, including procurement processes
  • A high level of business acumen and problem-solving skills.
