The Horticulturalist will supervise the day to day maintenance of defined horticultural (garden) areas including State and Regional Parks, road reserves, playgrounds and open spaces. The position holder will be required to undertake all aspects of plant propagation, nursery activities, plant selection and maintenance, along with assisting and contributing to the programming, budgeting and administration of maintenance activities.
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will hold a Certificate IV in Horticulture or equivalent and possess experience working in horticulture or similar relevant industry. There will be a requirement to supervise and coordinate the day to day activities at a worksite through planning, controlling, organising and leading staff.

What we offer
Starting salary of around $54K (Grade D) + Super. All other conditions of employment will be in accordance with the Coffs Harbour City Council Enterprise Agreement 2017 and the NSW Local Government (State) Award 2020.
