Market Product Manager - Industrial Safety

The Australian and New Zealand team is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our team in Australia. This position will be based in our Melbourne office and will report to the National Market Product Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Industrial Safety product, service & system sales into the All Industry Verticals
  • Strategic Market Assessment (Market position, competition assessment and price)
  • End to end Product Management of the Launch Process, Training, Product Lifecycle & Phase-out processes as per the SICK global product planning and launch framework
  • Provide Midterm & Annual Budgeting including monthly forecasting, business plans and gap review
  • Launch and drive services business including repair, commissioning and, customized local products
  • Work with All Industry and Sales Manager to develop plans for all major accounts
  • Promote and solicit ideas within Product Management teams.
  • Participate in Daily triage, weekly business review and other meetings as required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skill & Experience Requirements (MUST):

  • Advanced degree/ diploma in technology product marketing.
  • Background in physics, optics, laser engineering, or systems related field.
  • 3-5 years of product management/ support experience
  • Experience in working in a Agile team environment
  • Product solving and team relationship is a MUST
  • Prepared to travel for customer visits/ trade shows etc.

Preferred Skills & Experience (Useful):

  • Experience in a fast-paced and demanding start-up experience.
  • Experience in working in Factory, Logistics and/or Process Automation services provider.
  • Any software configuration & programming experience is a plus.
  • Proven history of successfully working across multiple projects.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and changing deadlines.
  • A willingness to oversee an issue from start to finish with minimal oversight.
  • The ability to be versatile and flexible in your workflow.
  • Can quickly create and lead cross-team task forces to resolve issues.
  • Ability to handle concurrent programs and work effectively independently, in a team, or collaborative environment.
