Marketing & Communications Support Officer

We are looking for a vibrant and proactive Marketing & Communications Support Officer to join our team at the Strategic Services Australia (SSA). This position is a key role based within Strategic Services Australia and will be instrumental in supporting the organisation and its four business divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of a digital marketing strategy for the organisational brand, in collaboration with the Customer Engagement Manager
  • Assist with the formulation and execution of marketing strategies for multiple business divisions, in alignment with the organisations digital transformation objectives
  • Draft and create internal and external marketing and communications collateral for web, print and online, including copywriting
  • Manage websites and social media channels by ensuring up to date, relevant content and graphics, and accurate timely posts aimed at growing customer reach and engagement
  • Monitor industry best practices for business units by researching competitor digital presence to identify opportunities for development
  • Assist in delivery of consistent communications across multiple digital platforms, always ensuring alignment to brand and organisational objectives
  • Data collation and reporting on communications and media activity related to the organisation and its business units

Skills & Experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Marketing or a related discipline;
  • Copywriting and editing skills, including experience in writing publications, newsletters and online content
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and work flexibly within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently, and to exercise initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with WordPress and other web platforms, including Facebook & LinkedIn
  • Current NSW C Class Drivers Licence
