A Permanent Part-time (22.8 hours per week, 0.6 EFT, SCHCADS Level 3 - clerical scale) opportunity is available within our Office of the State Director Program where you can make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged or vulnerable young people based in Grafton or Lismore.

About the role:

The Operations Administration Officer will provide high quality administrative support including monitoring the Regional Managers inbox, drafting communications on their behalf, planning and organising meetings, and responding to various ad-hoc requests.  The position works closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including the Office of the State Director, to ensure the Regional Managers team operates efficiently and effectively.   

The Operations Administration Officer is responsible for providing administration support to the Regional Manager.  The position reports to the Regional Manager and is a member of the NSW/ACT Admin Team.  

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated high-level administrative experience.  A qualification in administration or management will be highly regarded;
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
  • A high level of initiative; ability to plan, organise and prioritise work; manage multiple tasks simultaneously; and work to tight deadlines under pressure;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a range of contexts
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary, professional team;
  • Ability to interpret and implement organisational policy;
  • Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint and the ability to use information management systems effectively including Family Journey;
