The continued growth of the business has necessitated a dedicated position to take responsibility for all aspects of the payroll function. The payroll component of the role will be 2 days a week, with the remainder of the week supporting accounts payable & receivable with a wide range of tasks as required.
The Payroll Officer will handle all aspects of the weekly payroll preparation, plus prepare all employment contracts and ensure relevant documents have been completed by new starters
You will be given ample opportunity to use your initiative, solve problems and improve processes and systems.
You will need to demonstrate at least 2 years in role with responsibility for end to end payroll role in a medium or large business, and experience dealing with multiple employee Awards or Enterprise Agreements.
The directors recognise that to manage the current and future expansion in employee numbers a new payroll system will need to be implemented, ideally you will have exposure to at least 2 payroll systems so you are able to provide input into the selection of the new system.
