About the role:
An exciting opportunity exists at our Bordertown Plant for a Maintenance Purchasing Officer, reporting to the Inventory Manager. As part of the JBS Bordertown team you will be part of a global team that is internationally recognized for quality products. This person is required to provide leadership, coordination, management and support in the maintenance purchasing department.
Purchase of maintenance, services, supplies and replacement parts ensuring complete details are provided to suppliers as required.
Management of vendors to ensure follow up on lead times, quotes and delivery of purchases.
Receipt and dispatch of equipment.
Overall stock control and spares management including cycle counts
Provide assistance to the maintenance teams
Maintain workshop/store cleanliness
Monitoring SAP system
Other general stores duties as required
Strong track record of achievement gained within a busy stores/warehouse environment.
Previous experience managing a busy stores facility
Intermediate computer literacy
SAP experience highly regarded
Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously
Forklift license an advantage but not essential
