Key role with Global Sales Scope
Our client is a mining company set to go into production next year. With a major tenement and high-value mineral commodity, they will be regarded as a significant global resource. Due to the impending milestone, their marketing team requires additional leadership in the form of an experienced Business Developer/Marketing Manager.
The role will take responsibility for establishing relationships with global customers and liaise at the highest levels in major government and financial institutions. As the companys representative to prospective customers, the successful incumbent will require exceptional relationship-building skills, awareness of international cultural sensitivities, and an analytical mind. An understanding of international logistics and supply chain will also be valuable.
To be successful you must have:
A minimum of ten years experience working across global markets selling mineral commodities.
Strong background in contract negotiation and offtake agreements.
An understanding of the cultural nuances in both European and Asian markets.
Proven relationship skills with government groups and stakeholders.
Relevant Tertiary qualifications are important.
Candidates with foreign language skills will be highly regarded.
