Zoom Recruitment are working with a family owned and operated wholesale distribution company who have been in successful operation for over 40 years. Historically involved in the distribution of disposable packaging products, they have branched out into several other innovative industry sectors and as a result are now experiencing rapid and sustainable growth across the business.

THE POSITION

An opportunity currently exists for a seasoned and highly capable Accounts and Administration all-rounder to join them in the position of Office Manager within their Wetherill Park based head office.

This varied and multi-faceted role will see the successful applicant managing, mentoring and overseeing a small but growing office team, taking ownership of the purchasing and accounts payable function and providing general administrative assistance and support to the two Directors of the company.

ABOUT YOU

  • Previous office management experience within an SME
  • A strong understanding of both accounts payable & receivable functions
  • A knowledge of purchasing and freight forwarding
  • Previous exposure to working within a distribution and/or product manufacturing environment (Preferred)
  • An ability to manage, mentor, motivate and coordinate the cross-training of staff
  • Well developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to provide strong levels of customer service to key account customers
  • Able to multi-task and manage own time efficiently
  • Excellent MS Office skills and working knowledge of integrated ERP systems such as Xero

Role will suit a proactive self-starter who can excel in a fast paced and busy work environment and identify and implement process improvements to add value to the organisation. Hours of work are between Monday to Friday during business hours with some adhoc additional hours required from time to time to met business needs.
