Our highly valued client Clevertronics, is a manufacturer and distributor specialising in Exit and Emergency Lighting products; a highly respected brand and leader in their market categories, with an enviable reputation and strong customer loyalty.
On their behalf, we are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic State Manager to lead, develop and support the QLD sales teams to increase market penetration. You will focused on creating and leading a winning sales culture and you will be accountable for championing significant sales growth.
To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate a successful track record in sales management ideally within the electrical products industry.
The preferred candidate will have significant exposure to the commercial & industrial sectors through electrical contractors, consultants, lighting designers, architects and specifiers.

Demonstrable success in channel and key account management
High level negotiation and presentation skills

Marketing & strategic planning and budget planning experience

A technical aptitude for product application
Electrical industry experience and/or qualifications.
In this role, you will lead the sales team in driving market share growth and brand awareness into a variety industry contacts, so it is essential that you can to demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and influencing skills.
The selected candidate will have proven business acumen, a coaching and mentoring leadership style, demonstrable planning and organising skills. It is essential that you have a "hands on" work ethic; leading by example is prerequisite to the success of this person and their role.
