We are seeking a responsible and experienced administrative assistant to take care of an array of documentation and administrative duties. The position works closely with the Managers and performs tasks such as document preparation, follow up and organising files as well as general administration duties.
The successful applicant will have skills utilising tools such as the Microsoft suite of software and the ability to learn company specific software programs.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Taking a high level of ownership of tasks.
Responding to inbound communication and support enquiries via phone and email.
Sort and prepare incoming tenders for the estimating team, and prepare documentation once projects have been awarded.
Assist the Managers with processing documentation, meeting the requirements of the company quality management system (QMS).
Provide effective administration support to functional areas across the business.
Skills and Experience
The successful applicant is likely to have a Certificate 3 in Administration or equivalent.
Previous experience in a clerical or administrative role within the manufacturing, construction or mining industries.
Demonstrated time management and priority management skills.
A passion for excellent customer service.
A high level of attention to detail and highly developed organisation skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software packages.
Strong experience managing ad-hoc requests, handling multiple projects at once.
Superior verbal and written communication skills and a can-do attitude.
