About the role
The Physical Performance Manager is responsible for providing highest-level strength & conditioning coaching to CNSW Male & Female High-Performance players & programs, in alignment with Cricket NSW and Cricket Australia objectives.
Additionally, the Physical Performance Manager will manage and lead other Cricket NSW physical performance coaches to ensure best practice service provision and direction in alignment with Cricket NSW and Cricket Australia objectives.
This position is a critical contributor to achieving the Associations strategic goals of dominating interstate cricket and developing Australian representative players.
At least 5 years experience in the provision of S&C services to elite athletes / sporting teams. You are passionate about working with elite athletes and improving their physical performance, with high level coaching proficiency You have a proven track record of improving player physical performance, reducing injury rates, and working successfully as part of a multi-disciplinary support team Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Human Movement, Sport Science or equivalent You are registered with Australian Strength & Conditioning Association (ASCA) & Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), with a Level 2 (or higher) ASCA Qualification You have a strong understanding of the physical demands of elite fast bowling, preferably through a previous background working in cricket
