Production Planning Assistant

Berger Ingredients is an innovative and progressive food manufacturer of high-quality food products, which can be found in thousands of retails stores across Australia. Our production facilities are fitted with highest quality plant and equipment and are constantly expanding as we increase our capability with new manufacturing technologies and processes. All food products are developed and manufactured in Condell Park NSW 2200. Our product offering spans over 400 products ranging from flavourings, functional ingredients, toasted mueslis, to cooked/chilled or frozen ready meals.

 

Your responsibilities will include

  • Input customer order
  • Regularly review and provide timely communication to customer
  • Input assembly orders/work orders
  • Input stock requirement report
  • Place orders with suppliers
  • Confirm delivery date with supplier
  • Confirm delivery date with customer
  • Regularly review and provide timely communication with supplier
  • Attend Planning and Scheduling meetings
  • Input production schedule
  • Print production schedule and discuss with production team
  • Print assembly orders/work orders and distribute to production
  • Regularly review and provide timely communication for any/all gaps related to the production team
  • Assist the production team with any / all related activities to maintain workflow to all Lines.
  • Input production data

To be successful you will need

  • Hands on experience in manufacturing, inventory/warehousing control, production control/planning or scheduling experience a plus
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Ability to work in a high pressured and deadline-oriented environment
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
