About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Inventory Controller to manage the daily inventory operations of the warehouse. Key duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Ensure all WHS guidelines are followed in the workplace.
  • Allow flexibility to alter schedule and complete last-minute tasks as required.
  • Ensure all tasks are completed with a high degree of confidentiality and tact.
  • Manage stock controlling and material forecasting (minimal stock level).
  • Daily monitoring of stock locations within the warehouse & third-party operations.
  • Assist Project, Construction and Service Manager with material procurement and assure product availability as required.
  • Convert Work Orders into Purchase orders and assure material availability.
  • Liaise with Suppliers and Group Accounting Department to assure proper procurement documentation.
  • Perform simple assembly tasks and product preparation works.
  • Pick and Pack and organize shipments (utilizing the Group Logistic Department).
  • Proactively manage the setting up of new stock locations.
  • Proactively research improvements to storage mediums, physical layout & general organisation of the Warehouse.
  • Monitor QA records & investigate & advise management on quality issues
  • Perform regular cycle counts.
  • Any reasonable tasks requested by senior management.


About You:

We are seeking a candidate with experience in a similar position or has other experience or exposure to a manufacturing and/or distribution facility. The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualifications or extensive experience in administration;
  • Microsoft Excel skills;
  • Experience in liaison with a variety of stakeholders;
  • A forklift licence;
  • A current NSW Drivers licence.

Any experience in the below areas will be highly desirable but are not essential:

  • Experience in the blinds industry;
  • Experience with Xero and/or Tall Emu.
