Andersens Coorparoo is looking for a dedicated, friendly, and energetic Sales Consultant who enjoys building relationships in a sales environment. We have an energetic and fun working environment with a broad range of customers from day to day.

We are in a unique position to be hiring a full time Sales Consultant to join this dynamic team.

The successful candidate must be a strong team player and computer literate. Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not a necessity. The applicant must be able to uphold our respected name and ethical approach to work 

About the role and the key responsibilities

  • Read and develop floor plans (highly regarded) 
  • Establish and nurture relationships with past customers and potential customers to facilitate sales
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout the customer journey
  • Develop and build strong commercial relationships to fuel growth. 
  • Create sales protocols and procedures designed to increase conversion rates and improve incoming sales interactions 
  • Set appointments with clients and follow up with them afterward
  • Communicate with customers in person, by phone and by email to understand their needs
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the company's various products and services
  • Find potential customers through networking, cold calling, and industry research to increase sales
  • Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales, as needed
  • Follow jobs to completion to ensure customer satisfaction and upholding of the Andersens Respected Name and Ethics.
  • Some weekend work is required for the role.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • One to two years of experience in a relevant area of Sales or Marketing, {building Industry favourable}
  • Experience in developing leads and researching potential clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to make presentations
  • Interpersonal skills and comfort with meeting new people daily
  • Familiarity with relevant software, including demonstrated proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently
  • Time management and prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines and close sales in a timely manner
  • Willingness to adapt and implement new sales methods
  • Flooring experience will be advantageous.

Remuneration:

A competitive remuneration including car, fuel and phone. This is a showroom and on the road role with some weekend work required.
