Hardy Aviation seeks to fill a Stores purchasing position in our aircraft technical stores based at Darwin airport. The role is permanent full time, weekdays and within normal working hours. Experience in the aviation field would be of value but is not essential.
Duties of the role are Stores and logistics functions including:
Sourcing and purchasing of aircraft parts worldwide.
Consumable inventory purchasing and re-stocking.
Receipting, dispatching, picking of parts and consumables
Adherence to HA approved policies and procedures.
The use of Integrated Aviation Software computer system to process and manage stores and inventory
Processing of purchase, repair and exchange of parts including their receipt and dispatch. Liaising with suppliers on ETAs and back orders.
Processing of calibration for tooling and test equipment.
The successful candidate will display the following attributes:
Able to act independently and creatively to solve problems.
Sound communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively but with minimal supervision within a small team.
High motivation with strong attention to detail. Strong computer and accurate data entry skills.
Excellent numeracy and literacy with the ability to correspond and, importantly, price negotiate effectively with external parties.
Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines under pressure. Focus on the companys requirement that aircraft are efficiently returned to service from maintenance or repair.
Be over 18 and hold a full driving licence. Be able to pass drug and alcohol screening and gain an aviation security pass.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
