General Hand/Maintenance Support

Our College is seeking an exemplary General Hand/Maintenance Support as a member of our dynamic Property Services Team.

General grounds duties including but not limited to:

  • Clean College walkways and paths each morning;
  • Manages general & recycling waste bin collection and disposal throughout the College and Convent, keeping all bins in a clean and sanitary condition;
  • Manages cardboard and paper waste collection, baling and disposal throughout the College;
  • Maintain outdoor furniture settings in a clean condition and orderly arrangement;
  • Maintain air conditioning enclosures, spoon drains and down pipe drains throughout the College in a clean, litter free condition
  • Sports field maintenance, line marking etc
  • To assist with general gardening duties when requested
  • Assist with setting up for College functions

The successful applicant will be;

  • A motivated, efficient and knowledgeable individual with demonstrated practical manual skills and experience.
  • Able to demonstrate a willingness to work independently and as a collaborative team member to achieve the highest possible outcomes the College.
  • Have a current C class W.A manual driver's licence.
  • Have as a minimum current LR license (or be willing to achieve this after commencement of the position)
  • Supportive of the Catholic ethos and the Presentation traditions and practices of the College.  Be willing to complete Accreditation to work in a Catholic School.
