Reporting to the Farm Manager, the Farm Administrator takes a leading role in farm financial management and other essential tasks such Health & Safety, Quality and record keeping. The incumbent works closely with farm staff, the corporate office and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • General office duties such as typing, filing, ordering office supplies, faxing, etc.
  • Request, track and send all Management Reports to corporate office.
  • Compile timesheets for Managers approvals and dispatch to head office.
  • Assist with coding of invoices for Managers approval.
  • Track all vendors and invoices in Excel.
  • Assist in effectively handling all compliance for contractors, labour contractors, vendors, equipment and processors.
  • Complete equipment tracking request forms for any equipment being added, deleted or rented on the property.
  • Ordering of provisions and maintenance of PPE register
  • Management and accessibility to SWP, MSDS and other safety related documentation and reporting tools.

Education and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
  • Good organisational and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail and record keeping
  • A firm commitment to working safely in team environment

The role is initially as a casual offering flexible hours up to 20 hours per week.
