Cross River Rail is one of the largest transport projects in Queensland, it will set the foundation for a world-class, integrated public transport system in SEQ that will transform Queensland Rail and the way we operate. Our Major Projects Integration Team are integral to the successful delivery of Cross River Rail. The team are seeking an experienced Principal Adviser Program Assurance professional to join them for a 6 month engagement.
Forming part of the Commercial and Governance group, the Principal Adviser Program Assurance role would develop and manage assurance processes and frameworks for the Major Projects group. In this role you would be responsible for partnering with the business to promote compliance with legislation, standards and business requirements applicable to the delivery of the program.
A key focus of this role will be the continuous improvement of business processes, you will need to be able to analyse complex program issues and produce innovative and effective solutions. To be successful in this position you will need to be comfortable working across a diverse range of stakeholders who have differing business priorities.
In this role you will:
Develop business processes and documentation for managing and improving the processes currently utilised.
Develop and manage assurance frameworks for the program.
Ensure project methodologies and standards are applied across the projects.
Manage recommendations and report on progress towards outcomes.
Benchmark the maturity of Program Delivery in Major Projects and report findings/make recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate audits of the assurance program, ensuring that legislative requirements are being met and develop corrective action processes where required.
Share lessons learned and best practices across the program.
This position would suit someone who has extensive experience in program assurance and process improvement, who is autonomous and adaptable.
The salary for this role is approximately $123,506 + Super + Free rail travel. This is a 6 month vacancy with possible extension.
