In this role you will be responsible for providing administrative and project support, to both the Assistant Director, Learning & Digital and the Assistant Director, Indigenous Engagement (both SES Band 1). You will support the senior executive in a broad range of work including communications, strategic initiatives, funding applications, research and reporting requirements. Discretion, good judgement and the ability to prioritise are crucial in this role, while working to deadlines, remaining calm, good natured and professionally interacting with staff of all levels.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to delivering the Gallerys Learning Strategy, Disability Inclusion Action Plan, Indigenous Engagement Strategy and Reconciliation Action Plan. As such, it is essential that you have an understanding of the issues affecting Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and people living with a disability.
To be successful in this role you must be highly organised, experienced in a range of administrative tasks and show initiative in supporting senior executive officers.
This is a full-time ongoing opportunity and this role will work across both the Learning and Digital and the Indigenous Engagement Portfolios.
