The company is seeking a highly motivated individual who can plan, manage, and coordinate compliance programs in Quality Assurance, Occupational Health & Safety and Heavy Vehicle accreditation throughout the business' group of companies. The ability to work alongside other key positions in the organisation is a MUST to ensure effective management and continued compliance of these areas. This role is integral to the operations of the business and reports directly to the Directors.
The role monitors and ensures compliance for Chain of Responsibility (CoR) regulations and government legislation to provide safe and compliant services to our customers, staff and public.
Liaise with key stakeholders within the organisation to drive compliance to QA, HACCP, OHS and HVA standards and modules.
Monitor activities and audit standards/modules to develop corrective actions that meet all compliance requirements.
Ensure the safe operation of the business through developing training, SOPs and other documented tools for distribution to our teams.
Provide training and inductions to team members to ensure employees are equipped to work safely and in accordance with all compliance requirements.
Facilitate incident investigations and implementation of corrective actions that improve the operations of the business while preventing recurrence.
The ideal candidate will have:
Significant experience in a similar role
Knowledge of Quality Assurance, HACAP & OHS Standards and Legislation
Sound understanding of the heavy vehicle industry and HVA modules - previous experience working in an interstate freight services organisation will be highly regarded
Extensive experience conducting internal compliance audits - formal qualifications will be highly regarded.
Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to present information in a clear, concise, and logical manner
A current driver's licence is essential
