With our new Technology Business Centre, we are looking to expand our team in preparation for our growth and are looking for an Account Manager to join us and help drive our success.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing business with Telstra's existing small-to-medium business customers, working with them to provide ICT solutions that will increase the profitability and efficiency of their business.
As an Account Manager, you will be required to develop and grow business relationships with your customers at multiple levels in order to meet and exceed business targets. You will look to build a strategy around growing your portfolio, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
You will have the ability to gain a deep understanding of your customers business which will enable to you recommend specific solutions that meet their specific business objectives.
You will be required to work within a dynamic highly successful team and you enjoy building and maintaining relationships internally and externally within a very diverse environment. Working closely with the customer service manager, you will endorse the completion of customer orders to ensure all agreed deliverables have been met.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Establish/Manage customer relationship/s to achieve customer satisfaction
Develop and lead the account strategy
Develop and maintain relevant account plans and portfolio plans
Manage the opportunity pipeline via lead identification and qualification
Meet & Exceed your revenue and sales targets for your assigned portfolio
Executing outbound calls every month, to your assigned portfolio of customers
Ensure that all core systems are kept updated with customer information as required
Qualifications & Experience
Ability to clearly articulate yourself and present professional on the phone
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with a high level of motivation, and an ability to learn and develop
Proven solution-selling and value-selling skills
Strong Commercial/Business acumen skills
High Degree of stakeholder management
In-depth knowledge of small business solutions, processes and systems
