Executive Summary:

We are seeking a 3+ years experienced Customer Service Professional to bring excellence in customer service to our friendly and growing energy company.

Humenergy provides energy services to the strata industry, businesses and councils and specialises in embedded networks, utility billing, energy procurement and solar. Humenergy is an SME experiencing rapid growth in a niche area of the energy industry. We strive to achieve high performance, outstanding customer service, and exceptional ethical standards.

The ideal candidate is an experienced customer service superstar that is proactive, self-motivated and highly ethical and is seeking a long term role where they can make a positive contribution to the business and the community.

Role Details:

The role has the following key responsibilities and tasks:

  • Customer Service
  • Energy Billing and Administration
  • Payment Collections and Debt Management
  • Data Entry and Validation 
  • Understand compliance obligations and acting in accordance with them
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement in business processes and  efficiency

Essential requirements:

  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Customer service experience 
  • Advanced computer skills including office, excel and other software
  • Motivated, proactive and autonomous worker
  • Fast learner with positive attitude, excellent communication and team working skills

Highly regarded attributes:

  • Energy Experience or similar industry such as telecommunications, water, gas
  • Debt recovery or credit control experience
  • Experienced in understanding and complying with standards and legislation
  • Body Corporate/Strata title industry experience
  • Understanding of accounting fundamentals

Work Conditions:

  • Fulltime
  • Salary position with 38 hrs per week


  • Package to be commensurate with experience and skills
