Australian Therapeutic Proteins Operations Manager
A local biological therapeutic farming and manufacturing company requires the services of an Operations Manager.
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position as an Operations Manager, the successful candidate will join our team at our Westbury site in Tasmania. As the Operations Manager you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will be responsible for the operational, organisational, and managerial responsibilities of the company.
As the Operations Manager you will be predominately interacting with our employees and liaising with key contractors and suppliers. The right candidate has the opportunity to become part of the senior leadership team and help shape the long-term success of the company.
Your daily responsibilities will include but not limited to:

The successful candidate would ideally have:
Relevant qualifications in biological, project management, planning or engineering discipline.
Experience in a production environment with exposure to GMP.
Management experience in a production environment including supervision and coordination of subordinate staff.
About Us Australian Therapeutic Proteins is a dynamic and growing company in the biotechnology sector located in Northern Tasmania. We manufacture a range of animal products including API intermediates and diagnostic materials/reagents for use in biopharmaceutical applications. As such, all manufacturing operations are conducted in compliance with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice. We are registered with the Department of Agriculture for the export of our products and licensed by the TGA of Australia for therapeutic applications. We have approximately 25 employees over several sites in northern Tasmania.
