The Senior Finance Business Partner provides leadership and direction for the delivery of a range of financial advisory and support services to the business within an assigned portfolio to assist management decision making, improve business performance and provide a coordinated interface with central specialist finance teams.
Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Support Services, the ideal candidate will demonstrate effective leadership and influencing skills as well as strategic and commercial acumen.
This is a full-time on going role and can be based at Ultimo, Bankstown, Port Macquarie, Tamworth, Wollongong, Wagga Wagga, Orange or Newcastle TAFE NSW campus.
To succeed in this role you will have relevant commercial experience working within large, complex organisations and a strong customer focus. Your demonstrated success in delivering strategic financial management solutions and establishing consistently relevant tools and frameworks will enable you to contribute to informed decision-making and improved business performance.
Demonstrated skills and experience in building strong, collaborative partnerships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders is essential to ensure you become a trusted advisor. You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills and proven ability to analyse and interpret financial results of a business with multi-faceted operations.
- Degree qualification in related field or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience
- Thorough understanding of Australian Accounting Standards, Public Finance and Audit Act, Treasurers Directions and other government regulations
