ABOUT THE ROLE:

As part of the Tony White Group, Traralgon Automotive Group is an extremely successful multi-franchise Dealership, located within the beautiful Gippsland community - on the high-profile Princes Highway - East of Melbourne.

Due to an internal change, we have an excellent opening for an enthusiastic, energetic, and talented Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Manager to join us at this exciting time.

Traralgon Automotive Group is the largest automotive dealer for its brands Toyota, Hyundai, & Nissan in Gippsland providing substantial, high-quality, cared-for trade-ins, and having a ravenous appetite for quality Pre-Owned vehicles. This position offers a significant opportunity for you to reach your income expectations and to stamp your personal style on the role.

Current Automotive Sales and Management experience would be considered necessary, supported by a proven history of performance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The enthusiastic achievement of Monthly and annual Sales Budgets.
  • Leadership and management of the Pre-Owned Sales Team.
  • Planning, directing, monitoring, and controlling all activities in the Pre-Owned Vehicle Sales Department with the General Sales Manager and Dealer Principal.
  • Achieving Sales and Gross Profit objectives for the Department and assisting each Sales Consultant to achieve their individual objectives
  • Establishing, maintaining, and managing the internal sales system that includes customer retention programs, interaction, closing, accessory sales, and delivery programmes.
  • Monitoring inventory and working closely with the General Sales Manager to ensure that the vehicle mix meets the requirements of Customers
  • Assisting Staff in increasing Finance & Insurance penetration and Aftermarket Sales - in line with Department objectives
  • Displaying used vehicle stock to its best advantage and ensuring the security of vehicles after hours
  • Establishing and maintaining a dynamic and welcoming Customer relations environment that is dedicated to absolute Customer satisfaction

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • A sound understanding of Sales processes and the ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Exceptional interpersonal and Customer service skills
  • Sound computer skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
  • Professional presentation
  • Open, manual Driver's Licence is essential
